Safe Shore

Safe Shore is a project by the Migdalor Association that brings together combat veterans coping with physical and emotional injuries with experienced skippers and graduates of the Israeli Navy’s Officer Training School, for unique sailing experiences along Israel’s coastline. We invite you to join us at sea, learn the fundamentals of sailing, work together as a small and close-knit crew, and discover your own— a place of calm, purpose, and meaningful action.

Migdalor Association is now opening registration for the second cohort of the program, which will begin in early October and run for approximately three months.

As part of the program, participants will take part in a weekly sailing session lasting approximately two hours, with the same group and the same support team throughout the program.

The program provides professional, emotional, and safety support, and is personally tailored to each participant.

Please note: Participation is intended for men and women who served as combatants and are coping with physical and emotional injuries. No recognition or eligibility from the Ministry of Defense is required.

The project is operated entirely by volunteers, and participation is completely free of charge.

After registering, you will receive a link to an introductory interview to assess your fit for the program.

Please note: A dedicated group for paramedics will open subject to a minimum number of participants.
