Or (28) served as a combat paramedic and a commander in the Special Forces and the Paratroopers Brigade. He speaks on the intersection of warfare and medical care, reflecting on the profound sense of responsibility of the role.
Or now serves as a Strategy and Public Sector Economics Manager at EY Israel.
Combat paramedic (res.)
Gaya (24) served as a combat paramedic in the Givati Brigade and as a commander in the IDF paramedic course. She shares her heroic story from Kfar Aza on October 7th, and discusses her unique experience as the only woman in a combat company.
Today, Gaya serves in the reserves while pursuing her lifelong dream of attending medical school.

Always Beside You is the home for every male and female paramedic in the IDF, from active duty to civilian life. We provide a crucial emotional, social, and professional safety net by supporting the wounded, assisting in processing combat trauma, building community, and honoring the fallen.
They were there for us on the frontline; now it is our turn to be there for them.
