On October 8, the IDF Paramedic Course 42 graduation ceremony was held over Zoom, after the course trainees had spent the previous 24 hours stranded inside a building in Kibbutz Sufa. There, they celebrated the end of their training.
Ziv Meir, a sergeant and one of their instructors, experienced October 7 both as a paramedic and as an instructor — his heart divided between two places, being there for the wounded and for his soldiers.
